Recap of the 2025 mini sessions offered at the Lumos Room
Curious about what previous mini sessions have been offered? Here were the mini session offerings for 2025 at my photo studio, The Lumos Room! The studio was decorated for Valentines Day, Mother's Day / Spring, and Christmas. Take a look at photos from all the sessions below!
Valentines Day Minis
Valentines Day Minis were a simple setup of pink, red, and white heart shaped balloons with big "XO" balloon letters, and fun props like sunglasses, headbands, and heart shaped felt confetti on a white seamless backdrop. I marketed it mostly to families with doggies and I love how many pups made an appearance!!
Floral Motherhood Minis
The first annual floral mini setup at the studio! This was a hit and will definitely be offered again in the future. The single stem gridded setup was inspired from my favorite wedding venue in Austin; The Prospect House. I teamed up with Love Emmie for the beautiful silk florals. If you're in need of florals for an event and want to go the route of flowers that won't die, I can't recommend her enough!
Holiday Minis with Santa
This was my first time hiring a Santa for photos and WOW I am blown away with Santa Randy. He is the real deal. Not only did he look legit but he acted the part! He was a wizard at breaking kids out of their shell and helping them to interact with him. We included a bunch of props like a "nice list" that I put all my family's names on along with a Christmas book and a "nice meeter" stick. I've already hired him again for 2026 minis!
Holiday Minis
The studio was decorated for the holidays for two months, so of course sessions without Santa were offered as well. This year we had a living room decorated scene (which you saw with Santa minis) along with a cozy bedroom setup, and a more elevated red wall scene! It's fun to see which installments people gravitated towards. I also opened up minis to businesses to get brand photos so it was fun to utilize the space in a different way than I would for families!
