The Popponesset Inn
Often named Cape Cod's Best Wedding Location - The Popponesset Inn is one of the best places to get married in Massachusetts! Located in Mashpee, MA the Inn , this charming east coast wedding venue has a stunning oceanfront view, and plenty of space for a party in the outdoor tent! The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, and it offers various packages that include catering, bar services, and wedding coordination to make your day PERFECT!
The tent has private beach access that provides a little boardwalk with beach grass, a pier, an old wooden life guard chair, and best of all... there's no seaweed! YEE YEE! The tent hosts both the ceremony and the dance floor after a quick flip during cocktail hour. Cocktail hour is in the bar area that also has a lounge space (see couch below) that overlooks the reception area!

Devon & Michael
Devon and Michael actually live in San Francisco, but Devon's family is from the east coast. They met while in San Fran after Devon moved there for work. I'm so glad they decided to get married in the Cape so that I could meet these two amazing souls! Their amazing cake designer, Lisa from Delicious Desserts Cape Cod, referred me to them - and I'm so grateful. While their wedding day had a few things go not so according to plan (like rain, an off-schedule timeline, and forgetting rings for the ceremony - eep!), IT. DID. NOT. MATTER. Being with each other was seemingly the only thing to mattered. When you have the right priorities and perspective, really nothing can go too "wrong" on your wedding day.
Although they forgot their wedding rings, each bridesmaid had a wave ring that Devon bought them as gifts, so they ended up exchanging wave rings during the ceremony. Quick and creative thinking! And even though it was raining, we still went outside and took some portraits - and ended up having a great time especially when the bridal party joined us for some fun on the beach. So much joy!
I'm so so grateful Devon and Michael chose me to be their wedding photographer - they were just sooo kind and gracious. OH AND ALSO after their wedding they even sent me a football signed by Jimmy Garoppolo!!!! How freaking cool is that?? (Michael is the director of team operations for the 49ers).
