They eloped at the Travis County Courthouse in Austin, Texas surrounded by their immediate family for a legal wedding ceremony before their large wedding reception.
The Travis County Courthouse in Austin is perfect for an elopement because it is located right near downtown as well as the Austin Capitol. This allows for quick access to beautiful outdoor photo locations as well as celebrating at a local bar.
I adore this photo of the mother-in-laws embracing after their children were just declared husband and wife! This is what weddings are all about!
Photos on the front steps of the Courthouse are a must-have!
The walk to the Austin Capitol is only about five minutes by foot. It was a great opportunity to get some candid photos of the first time these two as an officially married couple.
The front lawn/walkway of the Austin Capitol is a perfect place for photos. It is so beautiful, the symmetry is amazing, and it is an iconic Austin landmark. We were lucky there weren't many tourists this day because it was sprinkling out. That didn't deter Brian and Sophie from celebrating though!
