Rhode Island State House Elopement

Have you ever dreamed of your elopement day? Do you visualize eloping in the winter? How about somewhere urban.... like the Rhode Island State House in Providence, Rhode Island?! If so then you're in for a treat!! I teamed up with some very talented wedding vendors to bring you inspiration for a Downtown Providence winter elopement.

The design team set up the elopement decor, which included a rug, signage, and the cake, at the base of the steps at the State House. While this would normally be a pretty busy area, the benefit of a winter elopement is that no one was around and so Katie and Tom had the most intimate, private moment for the first look and ceremony.

After their ceremony we took a few portraits on the state house steps as well as up on the balcony to have fantastic downtown Providence skyline views behind them! After some portraits they snuggled up to enjoy the most delicious cake from Sugar Flowers & Cake to round out their elopement celebration. Since it was pretty chilly we went our separate ways from here. But if not we could have gone into town to grab some twinkle light photos on Westminster Street in providence followed by a drink at a chic bar!
