That walk back down the aisle? It’s one of the most magical moments of the whole day!! You just said I do, your favorite people are cheering you on, and it’s your first steps into married life.
Advice for wedding aisle kiss photo
It’s at this point many couples plan to do a dip or lift or kiss somewhere along the way back. The wedding aisle kiss photo actually one of the most requested photos for most of the weddings I photograph. And for a good reason - it makes for a great photo!
Whether you choose an epic dip or simple kiss I recommend practicing what you'll do if you're really excited for this shot. Practice helps as it can sometimes be confusing where the bouquet goes or how to maneuver around a long veil.
HOWEVER 📣📣📣
After all that practice, don’t get so tripped up trying to get the perfect photo — just feel it.
Take your time walking back down and look around at all those smiling faces of your guests. Don’t get in your head about where to stop or build up that moment so much that you miss out on what’s really going on. You may actually like those reaction photos more than the planned one. Check out the photos below from some of my previous weddings. Which do you prefer; the planned kiss or the candid celebration?

I’ll be there to catch the real magic — the joy, the adrenaline, the love — exactly as it happens. Let go. Soak it in. Be fully there!!
