Chocksett Inn Wedding | Amanda & Andrew

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

I'm so freaking excited to share this gallery!! Amanda and I went to high school together and I've always been drawn to her real, genuine personality. So when she told me she was getting married and wanted me to photograph her wedding I about died. Then after photographing their engagement session I learned how perfect they are together - how Andrew keeps Amanda lighthearted and laughing and how Amanda brings out Andrew's soft side, and got even more excited for their wedding.

Amanda & Andrew's Wedding at Chocksett Inn

Meet the Couple:

Bride: Amanda

Q: "If you had to pick just one thing that you love the most about Andrew, what would it be?"

Amanda: "His sense of humor, by far. We'll just be sitting there and he'll say something so random or do an impression and he'll have me burst out laughing. I'm definitely the more rigid, serious one so having that humor throughout the day is so important for me."

Groom: Andrew

Q: "Can you describe the moment you realized you loved Amanda?"

Andrew: "I knew I fell in love with Amanda was the day she invited me over to cook me a ‘homemade meal’ for the first time. To my surprise she made me e-z mac and hot dogs .. definitely not what I expected but it made me fall in love with her because I truly never know what to expect"

Their Wedding Story:

After postponing their wedding once, Amanda and Andrew decided to follow through with their August 2020 wedding amidst COVID fears; "We didn't want to wait another year - we want to get married while all of our loved ones are happy and healthy".

Amanda: "I don't even remember what it's like to plan a normal wedding"

Andrew: "It was extremely difficult for me to narrow down the guest list. It was terrible."

They shared with me that The Chocksett Inn was EXTREMELY supportive of them/their wedding day throughout the entire re-planning process. I think everyone involved can shout a big fat thank you to Chocksett Inn for being accommodating throughout this pandemic.

Although they had a smaller guest list, their love was big. From their intimate first look in Chockett Inn's gorgeous neutral toned, natural light ballroom, to their romantic couple's portraits after the ceremony, their affection was palpable.

The ceremony was in the garden and was absolutely beautiful. Amanda, true to brand, quoted One Tree Hill in her vows, while Andrew, normally quiet with his feelings, confessed that the only possible way he could write his vows is because he loves Amanda so much. Amanda's grandfather officiated like he was a pro... until the very end. Upon marrying them, he said "Amanda you may now kiss the bride". The guests erupted in laughter and then applause as the couple shared their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. and proceeded to dance down the aisle with the biggest smiles you've ever seen.

After the formal photos they danced their way into the reception to be greeted by the most heartfelt speeches from their maid of honor and best man followed by tearful first dances with their parents. Brian from All Star Entertainment absolutely crushed it and kept the energy pumping.

I'm so grateful to have captured their love and their wedding day. THANK YOU AMANDA AND ANDREW!!!

"We had such a wonderful experience working with Tammy. From the beginning, a year before our wedding with our engagement photos, to our wedding, Tammy took my vision (simple, clean, classic) and blew us away. Tammy was always professional yet down to earth and connected right away with all of our friends, family, and wedding party. Tammy's attention to detail is amazing and she worked tirelessly throughout the night to make sure our pictures were coming out perfect. We had SO many compliments on our photos. I would 100% recommend Tammy for anyone's photo/portrait needs!"
